Munch munch munch… What is that sound? Oh my, it’s the Very Hungry Caterpillar from Eric Carle’s amazing children’s story! This week we will be reading a classic children’s book and making a craft to go along with it. Of course we will wrap up the program with hands-on interaction with some of our animal friends who also love to eat food.
Toddler Time is a Mommy or Daddy (or grandparent) and toddler class designed for children ages 1-5 years old.
This program is a fun and educational adventure for young children to be introduced to the wonders of animals and the natural world. Guests will enjoy story time, crafts, music, and movement, as well as close encounters with our friendly animal ambassadors! Toddler Time is a unique and memorable experience for both caregivers and children. Having the opportunity to get up close and personal with our animals at the Barn Nature Center is sure to nurture your child’s natural curiosity and respect for living things.
This class begins at 10:00am and runs until 11:00am on Tuesdays and Fridays. The class is $20 for each adult-child pair.
