Have you ever been to a lizard's birthday party? Well, now you can! Join us at Pearl's Birthday Bash to celebrate the 4th birthday of our Argentine Tegu, Pearl.
Did you know that Tegus are about as smart as dogs or cats, and can be trained to do tricks? Or that they are the only lizard that can heat their own body? Come to Tegu Time to learn more about Tegus while enjoying an evening filled with exciting activities for the whole family!
Activities will include an exciting scavenger hunt, fun tegu-themed games, and a birthday card decorating station to make Pearl a card that will go on display on her enclosure! Get creative at our cupcake decorating competition, and win fantastic prizes! Participants will also have the opportunity to meet Pearl's friends, Milo and Buttercup the ferrets, Lizzy the iguana, and many other animals around the Barn Nature Center. Dive into the fascinating world of tegus and lizards with hands-on interactions and fun for the whole family.
Tickets are $18 for kids, and $13 for adults, with two 1.5 hour time slots available: one from 4:00 - 5:30, and one from 5:30 - 7:00. Reserve your spot today and make memories that will last a lifetime!
